The year following my graduation from college I didn't draw, I felt the various fine art classes mixed with drawing at Kings Island had zapped me of all my creativity. For a long time I forgot that drawing could be fun and the rigid rules I created for myself could just be thrown out the window.  During quarantine was when I really began to let go, but it turns out when you don't have a job you can return to your old hobbies. This is also the time I decided to start putting my art on social media, and it gave me a semblance of accountability to stay creative. Additionally it gave me new and weird challenges and drawing trends I could try out. Each time I did one of these trends I just “yes and”-ed myself until I finally stopped holding back and started making over the top, uncanny valley pieces that let me completely move away from the overwhelming stagnation of the past.
