One of the best ways to learn at 3DX Scenic was doing event work. While sometimes it felt like trial by fire it was one of coolest ways to expand your professional network and skillset. The added bonus was I would develop bonds with my coworkers and travel to places I had never been before. By the end of my time at 3DX I had completely memorized our rental catalogue, was able to pull, organize, and pack multiple shows at once, build customized scenery, lead stage hands in installation and problem-solve goofy predicaments on site.
